Me
I’ve always, always found great enjoyment and peace when creating something. Born in South Africa, I lived with my family in a picturesque valley in the Western Cape. I studied health and beauty therapy when I completed high school ( as I wasn’t too certain how studying art would help me have a career that paid the bills!) Well, it turns out I’ve gone full circle back to doing the things that really make me happy. This is a short history of my career path….
I worked in the corporate environment for a cosmetic company (Elizabeth Arden) for a few years (which was fun at the time), left to qualify as a yoga teacher a few years before my daughter was born, taught yoga, and ran an eco nappy company from home while my daughter was a baby. And then one day my husband whose love, support and encouragement has no bounds, suggested I take some time doing something for myself ! He encouraged me to join a local group of artists and just paint again. Something I had not done for many many years. Well, as you can imagine, I soared like a caged bird set free, I loved every minute of the time I had to spend in front of my easel. Between teaching yoga a few times a week and selling some of my paintings, I could continue being a stay at home mom which was very important to our family.
We moved our little family, furry babies included, to Seattle, Washington state in 2015. I continued painting for a while and towards the end of 2016 I started making jewelry (another hobby that I tinkered with over the years). At the beginning of 2017 I came across wire wrapped jewelry and as with my painting and yoga, I found something that made me as excited as a child on Christmas morning!
Besides my yoga practice and art, I’ve always had a deep love and compassion for animals and nature. I’d like to believe that doing what we love and loving what we do contribute to the positive feelings within and around us. When we’re happy and peaceful within, we also have more of ourselves to share with our loved ones.

I love to create; learning new techniques and applying them to my crafts. My classical realism oil paintings have found homes around the world and I am now launching a jewelry line inspired by my African and Indian roots.
100% Handmade, Bespoke
My paintings are generally oil on canvas. My jewelry uses a wire wrapped technique, with copper or fine silver. I use gemstones and gemstone beads in most of my pieces.
